Over the years, Downey & Scott has contributed to a wide range of projects at Washington Dulles International Airport, a major public transportation hub located in Dulles, Virginia—approximately 26 miles west of downtown Washington, D.C. Serving the Washington-Baltimore-Northern Virginia metropolitan region, Dulles is a critical gateway to the nation’s capital.

Our experience at Dulles spans a diverse portfolio of facilities, including airside fire and rescue stations, commissary and food service areas, warehouse and office space, aircraft hangars, the main terminal, cargo facilities, and runway expansions. We have also supported projects involving the midfield terminal, the underground people mover system, and renovations to the air traffic control tower. Construction costs for these projects have ranged from $373,000 to $75 million, reflecting the broad scope and scale of our involvement.
