Downey & Scott provided Cost Estimating Services for Fairfax County for this new library in Vienna that encompassed 19,000 SF and had the added feature of a 4-level, 97,000 SF parking garage. The project is planned to cost $25M with design goals of LEED Gold and Net Zero Energy. The new library space will have a Teen Room, Study Tables, and a room for Quiet Study. A Meeting and Conference Room and an outdoor courtyard can be accessed in the evening while the Library remains secured.
