Designed to be a skilled nursing facility with 128 private care rooms providing skilled nursing and memory care for residents, including rehab, physical and occupational therapy, language pathology, audiology, nutrition, and bathing assistance.

Downey & Scott performed cost estimating services and we worked with the owner and design team from schematic design to final submission drawings. They provided four deliverable cost estimates, including site and hard construction costs throughout. Changes, upgrades, improvements, efficiencies in time, and scope were included in each new set. - Estimates assumed that these projects would run in parallel with each other and that there would be building similarities between the two projects. The total size for both facilities is 135,350 GSF. The estimated total cost for the Hampton Roads project was $54.8M.
