Downey & Scott provided Pre-Construction & Construction Phase Services for the Renovations to existing facility which include razing portions of the existing building built in 1974 & 1975. Replacement infill additions will be constructed to new VDOC 2018 facility standards. Technology and Security systems upgrades, any site related improvements to the existing facility. Pre-Construction Services included: Constructability Reviews, Develop Overall Project Budget, General Contractor pre-Qualification, and Bid Analysis. Construction Phase Services included: Daily Field Reports, Preparation of Monthly Progress Reports, Participation in OAC Meetings, Pay Application Certification, Processing of PCO's and Change Orders, and managing MTSI Contract.
