Downey & Scott provided cost estimating services for an existing public park on the river in Chesapeake, VA.  

This project involved the demolition of existing structures, parking lots and walking paths, as well as the addition of a new restroom building, combination building (concessions and restrooms), covered pavilion, covered stage with amphitheater, new walking paths, five (5) gazebos, landscaping, parking lots, boat parking,  river’s edge erosion controls, pier extensions, and a boat fueling station.  This project had a total hard construction cost of $4,463,000.
